BARKtoberfest has come a long way since its humble beginnings in October 2008. The current president of CAARE was a founder of the event and has kept this event going over the years. Listed below are the locations we have held BARKtoberfest:

2010 - Tyann Plaza - First year for veterinary services
2011 - Tyann Plaza
2012 - Rayola Park - Partnered with Owasso Harvest Festival

2016 - Rayola Park - Last year with Owasso Harvest Festival. Many issues with parking and safety
2017 - Rejoice High School - unfortunately cancelled due to high winds, safety first.
2018 - Skiatook Central Park - rained out, rescheduled
In 2018, we moved the event from Owasso to Skiatook. This enabled new rescues and vendors to attend in a different market. We chose Skiatook Central Park for the venue. This is a beautiful park and located off Highway 20 for plenty of visibility and access.
